Our economy is headed toward disaster. The factors that go into the looming collapse of the dollar are widespread, from the sub-prime mortgage meltdown, to the continued borrowing of money from China, to the off-shoring of our manufacturing jobs, to the waves of illegal aliens. All of these factors and more lead us to contemplate the coming economic downturn with a feeling of unease. Yet there is hope. The solutions are not easy, but they are thankfully simple.

I promise that I will fight to lower taxes. As any family knows, the money coming into the family budget must be at least equal to the money going out. Inflation
The Federal Reserve, in concert with Congress, can create dollars without any tangible backing which causes inflation. As each new dollar is printed without any backing, all the other dollars are worth less. Rising prices (often misnamed inflation) merely reflect the fact that our dollars are worth less than they were a short while ago. Illegal Immigration
As a nation of laws, we cannot endorse or promote the breaking of those laws. I reject amnesty for illegal aliens. I also believe it is the Constitutional duty of the Federal government to secure its borders. The illegal immigration issue is not all that complicated to solve. Read More

On the Campaign Trail
We are having fun meeting people and riding in the parades.The children love passing out candy.
We are looking forward to marching on with this campaign in many parades and don't be surprised if we march right to your door. Canvassing efforts are in full swing. It is time to take the message to the voters.
In addition to the parades we have fair booths like the one we will be having in the Camas Days and Thurston County fairs.
"The consistent message is that people are happy we were running against Brian Baird. The voters are ready for a credible challenge to the failed policies of the incumbent." says Michael. As people hear about the message of following the Constitution, and how that would lower gas prices, end inflation, and start bringing down the deficit, they spontaneously respond with enthusiastic approval. The time has come to take back this district for appropriate representation.
