Categorized by date, the vote menu shows how I voted on each agenda bill.  Along with each vote, I give my explanation of why I voted in that manner.  I have long advocated for open and transparent government.  If a constituent were to wonder why I voted for or against any particular agenda bill, until now he would have little recourse to discover it.  Certainly, the meetings are public, however, I believe that most citizens are loathe to carve out time to attend public meetings over agenda bills that seem unrelated to their lives.

With this tool, constituents can find out how I have been voting without going through the archives of past minutes or watching the videos.  Another thing a casual observer may notice is that there are a lot of issues that we vote on.  This is absolutely true.  I do my best to read through each and every bill prior to voting on it.  After all, the public deserves representation that has read the laws it passes.
